"Hilary Rowland's exclusive Open Social Sundays and F.A.M.E. Project events bring New York's premier film, television and fashion A-listers together for socializing and networking over charity and cocktails."
-Joshua David Stein, Page Six Magazine
I am the founder of:
The F.A.M.E. Project (stands for Fashion/Arts/Media/Entertainment):
Exclusive dinner and cocktail events for film/tv/press and fashion/press.
"There's a new girl in town and she's throwing dinner parties that are leaving Manhattan influentials lusting for an invite. Anyone lucky enough to get into one of Hilary Rowland's events mingles with the media world's biggest moguls and the city's most glamorous celebs. At these intimate gatherings, you'll find it's all A-list—without all the attitude."
-Thomas P. Farley, author, manners and lifestyle consultant and senior editor, Town & Country magazine.
Open Social Sundays (OSS):
Networking and socializing brunches for a range of interesting people, including founders in the dot com space, and selected people in arts and media, supporting charitable causes. (8 per year) (http://www.opensocialsundays.com)
All profits from OSS events are donated to charity. I pick a different charity each time, and give out a postcard with information about the charity and what people can do to continue to help after they leave. Instead of charging for the brunch, I ask for a donation of their choice amount, and raise extra funds through silent auctions and sponsorship.
I am also on the board of directors of Global Angels (.org), along with Natasha Bedingfield, Petra Nemcova, and Hofit Golan.
